Christmas already

Wow I can't believe that we are only 10 days away from Christmas and for once I am just about done with my shopping, I just have a few little things to finish up. That always makes it nice to not have to scramble around at the last minute, I hate that. Emerson has been enjoying every part of this time of year so far, the Christmas tree and lights are her favorite, oh wait I think ripping of the wrapping paper on some of the gifts under the tree already is her fav. But any how she gets into everything and wants to touch all the ornaments so sadly only have the top half of our tree decorated because the little love bug will take them all off, the ones she can reach!!! We are trying to take the girls to Santa really soon it should be fun, I can't wait!!

My big girl!!!!!

Emerson is getting so big now I can't believe how fast time has flown!!1 She is 16 months old now and the cutest little bug with the personality to go along with it!!! She loves her binkies, her lovies, and her big cousin Jadyn and many more!!!!!!

Weekend Events

This weekend was filled with lots of fun for the girls! For starters I had my Christmas party, those are always a blast to go to. You never exactly know what is going to happen at those!!!! Then Jadyn and Auntie came over on Saturday and hung out and Jadyn even got to stay the night. Emerson loves her cousin sooooo much, she misses her because they aren't going to the same sitter for a while. They just get so excited when they see each they run up and hug each other, it's the cutest thing. But it doesn't take them long to start to fight!!! Emerson is now getting big enough that she can fight back somewhat and in fact hit Jadyn straight in the nose the other day.

Emerson has a new favorite word "NO!!!". I know little kids will pick up on a word and overuse the thing constantly but this child is beating it into the ground. I know it will pass onto something a little more irritating like "Why" or "huh" but still have to smile. She is growing like a weed and becoming more of a little girl and not a baby every single day. Time has flown and it feels like just yesterday I held a tiny little sweet girl in my arms. Now she is running all over the place and gets so excited when her Papa and GiGi get home and for the Christmas lights we just put up last night!!!

Thankful

I am so very thankful that good things come to those who wait!!! And wait I did =). I'm so close I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Long Weekend

I know I completely slacked off this weekend on what I am thankful for, but not to mention that my computer will still not all me to access the website from some reason!!! But anyways this weekend was full of adventure and spending lots of time with the family, it couldn't have gotten any better. This weekend was the first time I braved the Black Friday crowds and it was very interesting, I don't remember the last time I got up at 3:30am that wasn't for a crying child. Another first this weekend, Emerson got her first every haircut (more like a trim).
If you know anything about Emerson you know that she hates anything on her head. She won't wear bows, hats, or even a head band long enough to get out the door. So when she kept this on I had to snap a pic ASAP. She is quite the little fashionista!
This one I just loved because it makes her cheeks look so squishy and pinchable!!! She actually kept this one on the longest!
Emerson is quite the moving target for GiGi!!! But Papa came and kept her busy so she would sit still!!!
Here is the finished product!!!! Just a little trim in the back and she looks so cute the way it falls when I blow dry it!!! Now only if the top part could catch up to the back!

With Thanksgiving just a day away, I really truly have so many things to be thankful for!!!! But I think the one that I enjoy the most is that I thank God each and every day that these little girls get to be in my life and I get to see the joy this world has to offer through their little eyes.

Birthday Weekend!!!!

I had an amazing weekend for my birthday!! Saturday hit Bj's for dinner then saw an awesome movie, New Moon. Yes, I am one of those that likes Twilight, so get over it!!! Sunday my love bug came home and me and the fam and some friends went to dinner. What a great way to top off an awesome birthday!! Thank to you all those that made it great!!

Saturday- I am thankful that God had given me the strength to make it through each and everyday even when I feel like I can't go any farther!!

Sunday- I am thankful that I have so many amazing people in my life!!! Emerson and I are sooooo lucky!

Wednesday: I am thankful that yesterday was short because everything and anything went wrong yesterday!!

Thursday: I am thankful that today started off much better than yesterday and tonight is family night at the Avacado!

I am thankful that I get to hear the sound of a baby screaming early in the morning, but when she smiles it makes all those crazy early mornings like today so worth it!

I am thankful that I am almost done with my BA!!!! So many doors will be opened once I have that little piece of paper in my hands. For starters I won't be having to do double duty on school, one class will allow me to be with my love bug and fam more!

Who's child is this?

I have no clue where Emerson gets this from (me hehe)!!! My child kept taking her clothes off on Saturday night, I swear if I allowed her to run naked all the time she would, but she settled for this!!! She loves her Dora boots that GiGi got her and every minute she can she wears them!!!! Gotta love this little body though oh and yes I still give her the binky (bebe as she calls it) So what it makes her happy!


** She loves her golf bag she puts EVERYTHING in it and drags it around the house. I might have myself a little golfer in the future.

Weekend update

Ok I didn't for get about writing what I am thankful for this weekend but for some reason my computer would not let me access my page to log in but anyways here goes.

Day 6 (Saturday)
I am so very thankful that my cousin Ashlee invited me to and along with the rest of the girls to be there while she looks for her wedding dress, such a special time!!!! She looked amazing!!

Day 7 (Sunday)
I am thankful for my daughter somewhat sleeping in because we had pictures, and she did amazing!!! I can't wait to see them!

Day 5

Today I am thankful that I made it work on time without losing my mind, at least not all of it!!!! Some little girls (Jadyn) likes to be difficult and push my buttons!!! But other than that have a Happy Friday!

Everybody has one

A twin that is!!!! We were at the mall and just happen to pass this little girl who looked just like Emerson. She was a bit smaller even though she is older. They had the same hair color, eyes, even the same big forehead due to lack of hair!!! It was just to funny. The girls just stared at each other!

Day 4

I am thankful that I have a family that has stepped up to really help me out and help watch Emerson so that I can finish school. It's been a long road but I will be done in January!!!!

Game Night

So we have busted out the Wii this past weekend, its been forever since we have played it last. I think it's been since right after Emerson was born. Anyways last Christmas dad got mom Dance Dance Revolution and we finally got it out to play. Honestly I sucked big time at first and now I have the high score haha. We are very competitive. Auntie knows that I will beat her any day but she keeps using excuses about being preggo, love ya auntie but I would still beat you even if you werent!!! Well Emerson decided that she wanted to play along with the big kids and this pic is showing you her version of playing!

Day 2

I am thankful that today has gone smoothly so far, unlike yesterday and how I get to enjoy the best conversations with Jadyn in the morning on the way to the sitters!!! This kid comes up with some crazy stuff!

Thankful

Ok I have just been putting this off but Tis the season. I am going to say something everyday for 30 days what I am thankful for. I think in this insanely crazy busy world we all live in we need to take a minute and step back and realize how many amazing things we truly have in this world today!!!

Today I am thankful that I have another day to be Emerson's mommy and be apart of the crazy family that I have =)

But in other news haha, this week was lots of fun!! Got a ton of homework done and hung out with the family!!! I did watch Taylor Swift on SNL, I must say the girl is insanely funny.

Sassy

This past weekend Emerson has vastly added words to her vocabulary! Although they are very hard to figure out at first we get the idea that she is trying to convey to us!!!! All weekend she would point at the the dogs and say "yac" for Jack or she will just bark at them. When she gets in trouble or wants some attention she will say baby!!! I know, where do they come up with these things? But her new favorite one is to say "No No" and point her finger at you and shake it!!! Can we say a little sassy???? This child melts my heart every time she does this because it is hilarious!!! I know I shouldn't laugh when she does it because she now thinks it is funny, which it is but isn't!!!! She is getting to the point where she can finally keep with the Jadyn and is starting to figure out it won't be long before she is man handling Jadyn!!! But until then we must keep out eyes out because Jadyn now thinks it is hilarious to just plow over the top of Emerson like she is playing football!!!!

A little teaser

All the girls did an awesome job on Saturday trick-or-treating. Emerson kept up with the bigger girls for the most part and got the hang of it pretty quickly. She was the cutest darn ladybug though!!!! She knew that the candy her bucket was hers (actually she really wont get to eat it, she doesn't eat alot of candy). She told on her Papa for getting a piece of her candy, she was not to happy about that, she is still learning to share its a work in progress.

Dilema

Ok so here is my issue that I am having! This economy sucks big time, and I am sure everyone is in the same boat but I am sure some of you are thinking you (me) live at home so how is it that you don't have money?? Well you are all wrong haha I battle to stay afloat just like the rest of you guys! I pay for school, mostly books but I still pay them myself. I have a little munchkin who will eat me out of a house soon, she eats more than Jadyn!!! Let's just say kids aren't cheap at all especially when they are growing like a weed. But don't get me wrong I am not complaining one bit about anything, I love my life and I am happy where it is going. We, Emerson and I, are on the right track and I a doing something about it to make it much better for the both of us. But anyways here is my dilema, food and the prices!!!!! I am trying to really be good about bringing my lunch to work, but sometimes fail at that, buy groceries that are on sale or I have a coupon for, or buy in bulk. Now what I am asking for if anyone has any ideas that will help me save more or any suggestions on stores etc, I want to be able to continue this habit and make it better so I can get more for my buck!!!! As I am sure everyone else does to! So any suggestions are welcomed!!!

Twins

Ok I am sure my sis is going to kill me for putting this up here but I couldn't help myself!!!! Yes that is my daughter with the outie bellybutton apparently she ate half my sister's dinner even though she ate her own dinner before she went over there. I know this because her bellybutton is sticking way out like her auntie's!!!! This pic just made me laugh especially how her hand looks so sweet on her auntie's belly. There is a new little baby Paislie in there somewhere for the girls to play with soon, but the poor little thing is going to have to be one tough little girl to deal with Jadyn and Emerson!!!

Happy Monday

I know it's been a week since I posted last but last week was a very busy week for us!!!! We had work and school and lots of fun things in between!!!! Plans changed in an instance but we had a blast anyways!!! WE (Emerson and I) went to a couple of farmer markets with Auntie, Ruben, and Jadyn and have another one this weekend!!! Had a great time with some friends on Saturday and Sunday we went out for Papa's Birthday. All in all I can say it was a nice week/end and we are looking forward to the same this week. We are probably going to go to the pumpkin patch this week, because we need one for the halloween party this weekend!!!! Can't wait to take some cute pics of all 3 girls.

FALL

Meltdown

So last night was crazy!!!!! Well for starters my class got cancelled which I was really exciting about so I rushed home so I can be with my baby girl and fam before it got to late. The girls were over so Emerson was just thrilled that she could play with her cousin. We let the girls go outside because they love to be outdoors, which I love they love to do that. Before we knew it we could hear squeals and we went outside to check it out because it wasn't the bad squeals. We turned the corner and Emerson was completely gray!!!!! We had thought Jadyn had poured dirt all over her but we realized it was cement from the bag so we rushed the girls into the tub before it could get into their eyes. It was quite a site to see but a little crazy!!! Then I tried to upload all 400 pics from this weekend and then I thought the computer crashed and we has a TON of pics that had yet to be backed up. So I broke down in tears because there were pics from when Emerson was born and her first birthday among other important things. So after a service charge from Dell (they suck) we unplugged the printer and the computer worked again and we backed everything up, thank the lord!!!!!! I am sure the Dell guy thought I was crazy for crying while talking to him, oh well. But everything is all good now and I can breath easier knowing we will have those special pics!!!!

We had a very busy weekend this past weekend!!! We had a football game, J's birthday part and of course the Princesses on Ice show on Sunday!!!! The girls all had blast and basically played until they couldn't keep their eyes open anymore!!!! The next few weekends are going to just like the one we had, lots of fun!!!!

Wow, what a weekend we had. We had lots to do this weekend and it seemed as though we were always on the go. We had football games and fair adventures this weekend as well as some other family events. All in all it was a nice weekend, hot but a good weekend for us!! Oh yes Emmie is learning her manners and now can say please but it's more like phish, you have to hear it in person it is too funny. She knows she has to say it before she gets something, she is very smart!!!! But I am sure I am a little bias.

100th post!!!!

Woohoo, wow I can't believe my 100th post. Well anyways happy Wednesday!!!!! So many things going on this week for us. The Fair starts, finally!!!!! I finish up one of my last classes for school, 2 more and counting!!!!! We are taking the kiddos to the fair this weekend and J is thrilled to get to see all of the farm animals, especially the goats. Why the goats I have no clue, with her we just go with it. And my favorite of all, the fair food. Although not great for my diet of trying to eat healthier food, I will be walking around, so I keep trying to convince myself that it all balances out, yeah right!!!!


I promise my daughter does wear clothes, GiGi sprayed her with the hose so I took her onsie off. But I know if she could she would rather be naked.

Crazy times

Things are insane here in our neck of the woods. I am super busy with school, this anatomy class is taking up a huge chunk of my extra time studying. Emerson is doing amazing, getting bigger and smarter by the second. She never fails to amazing me. Now she is trying to feed herself when she eats with a spoon/fork. She doesn't want me to help her at all, she is a very independent little lady!!! She still loves to play in the dirt and with the bubble machine, her and J could spend all day out there if we let them!!!!! Other than that we are just waiting for little Snow White to make her debut but until then we are enjoying life and can't wait for the Fair and Halloween to get here!!!

Niece in January!!!! My stubborn sister played a great joke on me and everyone knew what they were having but me and Jadyn called and told me tonight it was a Snow White!!!! Auntie and Emmie are very excited to be welcoming another girl into our family sometime in January!!!!!

Wishful thinking

One could only hope that she was potty trained already!!!! She has been letting me know, or at least giving me a signal, before she goes sometimes!!! But it is still to early for her to wear her big girl underwear like her big cousin J but in the mean time we just thought it was so cute!

Hoping

So all day to day little missy has been coming to me right before she goes to the bathroom. Everytime she would either grab at her diaper or hold onto my leg. I am not sure if this is the start of her telling me it's almost time to potty train her or if it is just a weird thing she is doing today. I have my fingers crossed she is starting the process of potty training!!! Lets just wait and see!!

UPDATE

I feel like Emerson is like a sponge and taking so much in daily I thought I would give a quick little update. This past weekend we enjoyed just hanging out and not rushing around for anything, just time to relax was way overdue. She has learned a few new things and they couldn't be any cuter. Jadyn is over at the house all the time and starting on Saturday morning the second Emerson woke up all she could say all day long was "Jayn", she even walked over to the door ask for her, she would use her play phone and talk to her. I just thought that was the cutest thing ever, she lovers her so much she can't get enough of her. Then after I read a book to her I always say "tada" so she has picked up on that and says that everytime something happens and she has figured out how to pick up toys and put things away, with a little help from she is getting much better. Hope everyone had a great weekend.!!!!

Becoming

Emerson is growing up so fast right before my eyes. She is no longer the little tiny baby that needs her momma to do everything for her. She now runs and plays all the time with her cousin J and she has figured out she can help mommy put on her own shoes. But now she is learning to use a fork when she eats!!!!!

Farming

So this weekend we got to visit a friend's house that had some animals (horse and goat). Emmie has never been around any thing like that before, and she has a blast. I have a little cowgirl on my hands I think.

Week 1

Well I got the first of many rough weeks out of the way and I can say that it wasn't that bad, at least not yet. School at night and getting home late is really catching up to me but it's the weekend so I can catch up, hopefully. I have some major studying to do to make sure I know what is going on, who knew the skull had so many different bones and holes that had super long names??!!?!?!? Well hope everyone has a great weekend, Emerson and I have some fun things planned this weekend and I can't wait to get started!

And so it begins

So I started at BC this week, and man what a crazy week it has been already. The only science class that was available at night for me to take is one crazy class, anatomy. Basically this teacher is cool but he said that this is one difficult class if you are just taking it as a general class because there is so much to learn. So here I am thinking crap what have I gotten myself into????? On top of this class I am taking the rest of my classes online (I have 3 left). WOOOHOOOO!!!!!I have come this far and now it's time to bear down and really stayed focused, I just have know this is only until December!!! So wish my luck this is very important for Emerson's and I future!

Thankful

This weekend we went to my cousin Scott's wedding, to his perfect match Shannon. Everything about the whole day was so amazing, from the tears that Shannon cried while saying her vows, it made veryone cry, to how handsome and proud Scott was. We are so happy for u guys and we were delighted to be able to be part if your special day!

This weekend I just happened to walk by a new shoe store and I went in to look around because they were having a big sale. I am all for hand me down shoes or cheap ones because kids grow like weeds and don't stay in their shoes very long. We little (big) Emmie has some funky shaped feet more like Fred Flintstone. So anyways I found a super cute pair of cross trainer Nike and some hot pink Nike shocks. They were perfect for her shaped feet. So with the money she got for her birthday from Granny I got her 2 pairs of shoes for this winter.

So I just found out that I will be graduating in January, finally!!!!! If everything goes according to plan and my counselor I will finally be done with my BA, it's been a long road but I see the light at the end of the tunnel. I will only get a month off then back to the books and start my Masters/MAP program which should be less than 2 years. My life has been super crazy with school and work and Emerson but I have managed to maintain a high GPA, I am just so proud that I stuck with it even when the times got really difficult. But it's not quite over but I am close. I am just so excited. Excited to graduate and excited for things coming in the future for me and the family!

Just like Jadyn

Emmie can't get enough of her cousin J. They have so much fun playing together I know they are going to grow up as close as sisters. Jadyn loves wearing her "princess" dress but squealed with delight when she saw that Emerson had it on. And Emmie just twirled around in the dress like it wasn't 10 sizes to big for her, she was in heaven.
