Whistle while you work
So I started back at work today, so tragic. I wasn't sure how I would be dropping my baby off today. Would I be excited to get back to the daily grind and being surrounded by women my age or would I just be a sobbing mess that my little girl is now in the care of someone who is a complete stranger to her. Now her sitter is amazing people, my family personally knows her and I completly trust her with my little angel. Not to mention her big cousin J will be there to protect her. Actually Emmie needs to be protected from J but thats another story. But to my surprise I did very well today, a little tired but not what I thought I would be. Em thought it would be fun to wake up at 2:30 am and think that it was play time, I think she knew I was going back to work. But I was fine until I was dropping J and emmie off because Jadyn decided she would have a complete melt down in the driveway at the sitters house. Lovely, right? Here I have m baby in one arm 2 diaper bags and J throwing screaming fit not wanting to go in. People i must say my hat goes off to those mothers that have 2 kids close in age cause let me tell you I thought I was going to lose my mind. I guess it was a little overwhelming going back to work and having to take the both of them. But it's moments like these that just make my day a worthwhile waking up early to see their bright shining little faces. So far the day has gone by quickly and I can only wonder how my little angel is doing.

Fall is finally here
I have to say I love fall. It finally is not a million degrees here and bearable enough to enjoy hanging outside with family. It feels like everyone in my family has a birthday in October so we have many to attend this month. Nothing like getting to hang out with the family, which we don't do enough. These are pics of birthday parties and football games, the start of a great season.

Time is up already
I can't believe 10 weeks has flown by so fast . Sadly I am having to go back to work as a working mommy =(. My baby girl is 10 weeks old, this is the scary part. I feel like just yesterday I held my little Emmie in my arms for the first time. Now she holds her head up, knows who her mommy is, and smiles and coos as my silliness on a daily basis. These are the times that I wish I could bottle up and keep forever. But I can't wait till she can sit up on her own and begin that little deep belly laugh that goes on forever or when she looks up at me and says momma. These are the little joys that I long to have forever and the ones I look forward to everyday. Everyday is something new and so amazing with her I can't believe how much she has changed my life and made it that much better. To look into her eyes and know that this little person is a part of me leaves me speechless and I cannot wait to see who this little person turns out to be. The possibilites are endless for her and the excited part is the future for us and seeing who she becomes and the things she will do in life.

Life's little moments
Before my world change forever I really only lived my life for me and I took things for granted. I never really took the time to appreciate the things and people in my life before Emerson came into my life. Now everyday is a new adventure and I have come to appreciate the little moments in my life. There isn't a day anymore in my life that is the same and I have began to take every little thing good or bad with open arms knowing that everything happens for a reason. The best little moments now are just looking at my daughter grow and learn how to smile and all the little changes she has gone through since she was born almost 2 months ago. Everything I do in my life is to give her the best of everything possible. If you have kids you know what I am talking about, they are your everything in life and they are your #1. Everyday is a blessing for me and my family just to be able to let them know how much you love them and just being able to go through life's experiences with them and their support.
I am forever grateful for my daughter and my family in my life.

Time Flies
It seems just like yesterday I was barely moving around thinking could I be anymore pregnant and still having 3 weeks left until my baby was here. But by the grace of god she came early and there very few issues. Being a first time mom and thinking I had peed myself my water actually began leaking, but thats a whole other story. Anyways it's been 6 weeks since Emerson came into my life and as I sit herf and write this I can't help but stare at her beautiful face and wonder how I am so lucky that she is in my life. It still blows my mind that I have been a mommy for 6 whole weeks, I feel like I have been in a whirlwind these past weeks. Even with all of the somewhat sleepless nights and crazy feeding times I am so in love with this little girl in my life, it's like a love I have never felt. And it makes my day when she sits there and smiles at me when I talk to her and that makes all the worries and stresses in my life go away at that very moment.

Emerson's First Fair trip
Although she is only 6 weeks old we took her to the fair last night!!! She slept through most of it but we had fun. Jadyn got to ride the horsey, which for the past week that is all we heard about =0. We did the usual you know pig out on food and walk around and drink beer. We ran into some familiar faces of people we hadn't seen in a long time and then there were those you try to avoid hehe. All in all it was a good trip.
My thoughts =)
For the longest time I have been thinking of ways I can put myself out there with my thoughts and feelings whether it be good or bad. It has always been a struggle for me to show my emotions, I guess always in fear of the unknown. But I figure what better way for me, I guess you can say therapudic, for me to express everything in words. I feel like the I have so much to say, to I guess get off my chest I thought I would start this blog to not only have an outlet for me but to also share with everyone my pride and joy, my daughter.
In everyone's life you have moments in time that change your life, good or bad, that sort begin to mold who you are or lead you down the path of who you are to become. Well I have two moments in my life withing the past year that are moments I will never forget!!!
December 21, 2007 the day my life would change for the better, I would later come to realize. This is the day I found out I was going to have a baby. Still in shock of hearing those words feels like it was yesterday. A million and one thoughts run through my head as I head to my car wondering what the hell I was going to do. What are my parents going to say, how will they react? What is her father going to think? What are my friends going to say? But most importantly ready or not I was going to be a mother and the best damn mother I could be!!! With it being so clost to christmas I was freaking out do I tell them now or do I wait till after? Well being the person I am I waited, I was just hoping I wouldn't get sick with all the food and smells, thankfully I lasted through it. As the weeks passed and I began to let people into my world I started to see who my true family and friends were. I lost those who I thought would be there but I gained some that I never thought I would have in my life, a nice unexpected suprise!! Those people came into my life for a reason and without them I think it would have been a hard 9 mo. for me. Although I basically went at this alone those people were the to encourage me and let me know that everything would be ok =).
August 9, 2008. This is by far the best day of my life, my daughter was born. Funny how she came about on the day of my baby shower. Through all the ups and downs of feeling alone and wondering if I was going to be able to give my little girl the world and if I would be a great mother all flew out the window the second I saw her face. It's hard to describe the love that you feel for this little person that will only grow stronger over time. The moment I held her I made a promise to her that I would do everything I can to give her the best life possible. I feel like everything in my life came into perspective. No longer am I #1 in my life, she is the first and foremost the most important thing to me, it's all about her. I realize there are going to be things that I miss with my friends, the ones that are left, but I am ok with that because I have the best thing right here. Everyday is a growing process with her and to see her grow and learn how to smile and make all the cute little noises just amazes me that I made this amazing little person. Life couldn't be better for her and I and who knows what the future holds for us and our amazing little ride.
